my backstory - part 1
Back story (part 1) ... I come from a long line of art collectors, art dealers, and creative people. Starting with my great grandparents who were Asian art collectors and dealers beginning in the late 1800's, the Bentz family. A native Californian, I have always been a free spirit, a lover of nature and adventure. Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an artist mother and scholar father, I was surrounded with all forms of art, music, and literature while growing up. My mentor... my mother
My mother, Sandra Della Valle was born in Sweden and immigrated to the USA when she was only 4 years old. When I was growing up, we used to sit at the kitchen table and draw, paint, or sculpt. Cards from around the World...
I have spent years traveling and living in different places on our amazing planet. Mexico has always been a favorite of mine. Beautiful beaches, warm waves, palm trees, tropical weather, incredible culture and archeological ruins.
