I have spent years traveling and living in different places on our amazing planet.

Mexico has always been a favorite of mine. Beautiful beaches, warm waves, palm trees, tropical weather, incredible culture and archeological ruins.

My first trip was spent on the west coast of Nayarit and Jalisco states; my friend used to swim out to the local shrimp boats with a plastic bag and some pesos and swim back with a kilo of fresh shrimp. We would eat them raw with fresh lemon right on the beach, which was one of the most beautiful, long, white sand, lined with vibrant palms.

This watercolor of the "Red Boat" was done years later and evokes the memories of that time and place with my favorite red dory.
